Janet and Deon are working together to play a perfect game of In Between in which they place all of the cards. They have each played one card. Write Janet's and Deon's fractions on the blank cards in the game to show how they can all fit.

Janet's cards:

A set of fraction cards: three-eighths, five-sixths, two-thirds, seven-tenths, three-tenths. Each card has a diamond shape in the bottom right corner.

Deon's cards:

A set of fraction cards: seven-eighths, one-third, four-fifths, one-fourth, one-fifth. Each card has a diamond shape in the bottom right corner.

Game:

An In Between game board: 0, one-sixth, blank, blank, blank, blank, blank, one-half, three-fifths, blank, blank, blank, blank, blank, 1. Each fraction on the game board has a diamond shape in the bottom right corner.

NOTE

Students compare fractions by placing all the cards in a round of the In Between game.
