Start with a 16-inch by 12-inch rectangle. Record its perimeter and area in the table below. Imagine cutting the rectangle horizontally in half and then attaching the two pieces together to make a new rectangle. Record the dimensions, perimeter, and area of the new rectangle in the table below. Do the same process at least three more times, and record the information in the table below.
